Help to inspire young people through cricket

Our programmes give children the chance to not only play cricket, but grow a love for the sport, learn vital life skills, improve wider wellbeing and fulfil their potential.

OUR REACH

Our scale is large. We Target to reach over half a million children each year in state schools and communities across India,In total we target to bring cricket to more than seven million young people by 2030.

OUR IMPACT

Our work prioritises young people who have fewer opportunities to play cricket. Our focus is evident to show that no matter where children live, they see personal, physical, social and mental health benefits from our programmes.

IT'S FREE

Cost is a huge barrier to participation in sport and so all our sessions are free for children to attend. We target to raise at least £6 million each year to keep it that way.

WHAT WE DO

Cricket in Schools

Our programmes give children the chance to not only play cricket, but grow a love for the sport, learn vital life skills, improve wider wellbeing and fulfil their potential.

Street Cricket Clubs

We deliver weekly, year-round cricket clubs in underserved areas. Designed to be fun and informal, matches last just 20 balls-a-side and coaches place a strong emphasis on life skills as well as a passion for cricket.

Free Teaching Resources

The Chance to Shine Portal is a digital bank of free teaching resources designed to support teachers to deliver cricket sessions in schools.

Our Outcomes

Through cricket, children develop a positive relationship with sport. They have fun, develop their skills, and become confident in their abilities. They continue playing in school, at a club or in their community.
